This trendy breakfast (or dessert!) is perfectly balanced with a few fresh mint leaves – and a few sneaky chocolate chips!
You can’t go wrong with the classic combination of strawberries, mint and chocolate – this smoothie bowl won’t disappoint.
I always struggle with desserts – I usually try to stick to “healthier” desserts but sometimes, my hankering for a big ol’ brownie wins the battle. But just having fruit and yogurt can easily get boring and I like to “treat myself” to a little something extra at the end of the day.
I’ve seen smoothie bowls all over Instagram – apparently it’s the hot new food. I just like it because I love mix ins – if I can mix chocolate into a snack, believe me, I will. Popcorn, trail mix, smoothie bowls, you name it! Consumption was a little…awkward as I didn’t have any clean straws. Slurping smoothies like a bowl of soup probably isn’t “Instagrammable” but who cares because this packed a powerhouse of flavor into one little bowl.
If you want to learn how to carve a strawberry into a rose – which isn’t as difficult as it sounds – I linked to a really good video tutorial below. This is an easy way to up your presentation game!
